Here is the story of PLUS, from the voices of our founders, Mick and Sandy Lee.
- 40 years ago, we listened and understood the difficulties local corporations were experiencing in recruiting employees to our area.
- We responded by creating one of the first destination counseling centers in the country. We were pioneers. Our clients were delighted.
With that success, we decided that our core business should address the corporate mobility needs of our clients.
- When our clients needed better local real estate services, we built a unique real estate company. We educated their employees to Buy Smart and Sell Smart so they made better decisions and reduced our clients’ costs.
Our clients then asked us to expand our expertise to the global level so that we could become their single provider.
- They asked us to review and improve their policies. We made recommendations to assure that they would get more value for their investment.
- We created a better home purchase service than they could find on the market and reduced their cost by 35%.
- They needed better expense control so we helped them accurately track, allocate and budget costs. We also created uploads to make work easier for their payroll departments.
- When they asked for full outsourcing, we created a counselor role that would lead employees through policies and set realistic expectations for their move experience. And we supported them until they were settled and productive.
- We controlled costs and added value for our clients by negotiating supplier contracts, auditing invoices and managing their services.
- When they asked for real time information, we built a robust technology platform that gives them in-depth knowledge on status and cost through real time dashboards.
